Design a Quilt: Give Healing and Hope. Thanks to your generous giving, we are more than half way to our goal of sending 10 more baby quilts and funds for medical supplies to Camphor United Methodist Mission in Tubmanville, Liberia. For each dollar you donate, you can choose a fabric square and pin it on the quilt board. We’ll sew the squares together, tie the quilts, and send them to "Operation Healing Hope." This is a priority campaign of the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church to end obstetric fistula, a devastating, but treatable and preventable injury resulting from prolonged, obstructed labor. In these situations, babies are usually stillborn, and without a simple operation the women become social outcasts because of incontinence. Prevention, education, and treatment are keys to healthy mothers and babies.
